CO₂ liquefaction system “Ekitaro” series
The importance of efforts to separate and capture CO2 emissions from factories and power plants to achieve a carbon-neutral society has been increasingly recognized in recent years. These efforts include CCS (Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage), which involves storing the captured CO2 underground, and CCU (Carbon dioxide Capture and Utilization), which involves recycling and reusing the captured CO2.
The captured CO2 can be used in its current form to produce dry ice or in plant factories, and it can also be converted into fuel through methanation or for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), used as a raw material for chemicals such as resins, or as a raw material for cement. In CCS and CCU systems, a system for liquefying the captured CO2 at atmospheric pressure and filling it into cylinders or other containers is necessary. Our company sells the CO2 liquefaction equipment “Ekitaro.”
